This Vegetarian Pulao is an easy to prepare and healthy dish - a universal recipe liked by all. Probably a good choice for low spice and less hot food lovers
Steam Flavored Rice
- To a hot pan add some butter. Add cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and stir it for sometime
- Add onions and stir till it turns brown
- Add Basmati rice and mix it well
- Now add water, some salt and transfer this mix to a cooker or steam it till the rice is cooked
As your flavored rice is being cooked, you can prepare the vegetable mix.
Vegetable gravy
- To a hot pan add some ghee and then the recommended vegetables and Mushrooms
- Add some salt and then the lemon juice
- Stir the contents for sometime and cook it in medium flame until it becomes soft
- Check if your rice is cooked
- Mix the cooked vegetables to the steamed rice and top it with garam masala
- Mix the contents well and ensure that the masala is spread equally
- To give some flavor sprinkle some coriander leaves
Your simple Mushroom steamed rice - Pulao, is now ready to serve!
