A traditional Tamil Nadu dish, this is one among the selected chicken dishes that we found very interesting and strongly recommend to give a try!
Preparation
- Marinate chicken pieces with turmeric powder, salt and leave it for about 15 minutes or longer
- Heat a spoon of oil in a pan. Add the masala ingredients and fry it until semi brown. After it cools grind this to a paste
Set with your ingredients and masala, you are now ready for the main steps!
Cooking Steps
- Heat oil in a pan and to this add mustard followed by cumin and fenugreek. After few sorting add chopped onion and fry it till brown
- To this add chopped tomato and fry till it becomes soft
- Add turmeric, chilly powder and coriander powder and mix it well
- Add the masala mixture to this and stir it for couple of minutes
- Now add chicken and ensure the masala covers all chicken pieces. Add sufficient water and boil it until chicken is cooked.
