This rice recipe is an easy to prepare and nutritious dish - a recipe for non spicy food lovers.
Steam Flavored Rice
- To a hot pan add some ghee. Add cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, fennel seeds, pepper and stir it for sometime till it gives some flavor
- Add onions and sprinkle some salt. Stir till it turns brown
- Add grated carrot and stir it for about 2 minutes
- Add Basmati rice and mix it well
- Now add sufficient water, some salt and transfer this mix to a cooker or steam it till the rice is cooked
