Carrot Rice

This rice recipe is an easy to prepare and nutritious dish - a recipe for non spicy food lovers. 


Steam Flavored Rice

  1. To a hot pan add some ghee. Add cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, fennel seeds, pepper and stir it for sometime till it gives some flavor
  2. Add onions and sprinkle some salt. Stir till it turns brown
  3. Add grated carrot and stir it for about 2 minutes
  4. Add Basmati rice and mix it well
  5. Now add sufficient water, some salt and transfer this mix to a cooker or steam it till the rice is cooked
The rice is now ready to serve!
Serve it along with Mushroom curry or Egg curry or any medium spicy recipe. Try our recipes!
